Dolce&Gabbana Graces Bujairi Terrace
The famed Italian brand opened its largest single level boutique in the world, featuring it’s renowned DG Caffè
The luxurious fashion House Dolce&Gabbana, known for its excellence in creating fashion, beauty and lifestyle, launched its first boutique café in Al-Bujairi Terrace, in Diriyah on December 13th. I had the pleasure of attending, and the event drew Saudi influencers and key people of importance from within the Kingdom and around the world. This boutique café is considered the largest of its kind- over 16,000 square feet to be exact- in the Middle East, as it promises its customers special experiences- one where Italian essence meets Saudi taste.
“We are excited to unveil Dolce&Gabbana’s new boutique and café that will add an additional touch of luxury to the vibrant setting of Bujairi Terrace, our premier dining and retail destination,” says Diriyah Company Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo in announcement notes. “As we progress on our journey to create the world’s greatest gathering place and a center point of cultural tourism—one that will feature more than 1,000 retail outlets and dining concepts spanning 566,000 square meters—we invite global business partners to join us on this remarkable journey.”
Dolce&Gabbana has always been a favorite when it comes to their customers in Saudi Arabia, as the brand has provided impeccable design, excellence execution, and Italian spirit with their various pieces of high fashion, leather goods, perfumes, and cosmetics. In return, Saudis have assured them with loyalty and decent space in their closets.
And it seems that Dolce&Gabbana appreciates their Saudi customers, winning them over and becoming a stable luxury fashion brand in the Saudi market. Therefore, efforts were keen two years ago when Dolce&Gabbana launched their Alta Moda collection, the first fashion show ever held in AlUla.
The new boutique and DG Caffè in Bujairi Terrace offers a unique experience where the brand presents a specialized Abaya section for the elegant woman, along with an assortment of bags, shoes, jewelry, perfume, and of course the exotic cafe where you can grab a cappuccino and a cannoli but in Dolce&Gabbana style.
Diriyah is a special place, holding a certain admonition in the heart of our monarch, King Salman of Saudi Arabia. Bujairi Terrace where the boutique opened sits beside At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has welcomed over 2 million visitors to date who dine and shop. Once complete, Diriyah will house over 100,000 residents, and projects to attract 50 million annual visits by 2030. It will be a place of culture, world-class living, retail, hospitality, and dining.
