The brand just announced it will be a part of Haute Couture Week

Today, Lanvin announced that it is returning to the runway, in January 2025 to be exact. The fashion house that Jeanne Lavin started in 1889 has been in a sort of hiatus looking for a new artistic director, who was announced in September 2024.  Peter Copping, the new artistic head will be unveiling the new collection in late January 2025.

It will be fascinating to see what Copping creates under Lanvin. He’s known for his modern couturier aesthetics where his skills were honed at Balenciaga. “Copping’s first collection for the Maison promises to telegraph what Jeanne Lanvin herself called le Chic Ultime,” shares the house in announcement notes. Le Chic Ultime was the founder’s guiding principle of quintessence of chic. At the show in January, the fall-winter 2025 women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections will be a part of the show as well.
