The athleisure brand has created modern and sustainable pieces that are stylish

Over the past few years sportswear from tennis to golf has been creating looks that flow easily from the court to off the court. Fore-té, a brand by Andrea Wroble Houlihan has unveiled their new collection themed “elevating style for on and off the course,” particularly for golf, tennis, and pickleball wear.

We some of the pieces on the golf course recently and found them to be comfortable, making it easy to walk, hit the golf ball, and squat to view the hole for putting. But what’s also important for women on the court of course is to look stylish, and the skorts and skirts are just this. “Pieces are designed to fit seamlessly into everyday styles and challenge an outdated industry to work harder for women,” states the brand in collection launch notes.

“Launching Fore-té has been a personal journey for me. Picking up golf in my mid-20s, I searched high and low for outfits that were chic, well-priced, and contemporary,” says Houlihan in notes. “I quickly noticed there are not enough modern attire options for women; instead, I was met with unflattering fits, loud patterns, and bright colors - a complete departure from my everyday style.”

Houlihan and her team were driven by the stat, included in the collection notes that 6 million female golfers have risen over the past four years worldwide- according to the National Golf Foundation; and that women are joining pickleball more than ever before- according to pickleheads.com. Women actually make up roughly 43% of all pickleball players. And in tennis, 47% of the world’s 87 million tennis players are women- according to the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

All of these numbers led to the birth of the Club Core Collection, which includes crewnecks, pullovers, tanks, polos, skirts, and skorts. There’s also a baseball cap. Items range from $35 to $89. The collection can be purchased online at shopforte.com.
