Gugulethu Mnisi opens up about how through trying to find peace she discovered that there is no other god but God

In the pursuit for healing and ways of dealing with depression and trauma, I found myself flirting with the ‘New Age’ ways; reading books that pertained to depression and trauma. Little did I know that I was opening myself up to ‘New Age’ practices. I engaged mainly in meditation, it is said to be calming and helps with channeling thoughts, along with it's music. I found the meditation very weird but because I was so desperate to be myself again, I did not think my spirit was being defiled.

I soon stopped and just focused on my Word and Prayer. The weirdest thing started happening. Every time just after praying, I would go to sleep. As I closed my eyes I would see objects like cards, images and all and Immediately pray but they just wouldn't go away. For months I wondered why? The ‘New Age’ language was also creeping into my thoughts. This honestly bothered me, until one day God reminded me of a book I was reading and as well as a YouTube channel I watched for some time. He said that I opened myself to this, so these ‘New Age’ spirits had a legal right into my life, even though I wasn't consciously following them. Immediately I repented and earnestly prayed and pleaded the blood of Jesus Christ over my life. Did I not sleep like an angel that night? The peace of God surrounded me and for the first time in a while I felt at peace with God.

I share this because I have seen that even Christians are falling for this way of belief, where we are looking for answers everywhere, not only that, but unconsciously partnering with the spirit of the anti-Christ. The word of God says: 1 John 4:3 “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”  We are in the end times, and I believe that this is the time to really guard our hearts because the enemy is like a thief. He is here to rob us off eternal life.

In conclusion, I would like to encourage you and say our healing and deliverance are in Christ alone. Therefore, test the spirits, in the books that you read, videos that you watch etc.

1 John 1: 9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
