The San Regis Hotel is Quintessential Paris At It’s Best
A luxury family-owned hotel in the heart of Paris, the San Regis offers quaint and quintessentially Parisian hospitality
The San Regis is located in the heart of the ‘Golden Triangle,’ in Paris’ 8th arrondissement. The hotel has seen the likes of Jacqueline Bisset, Lauren Bacall, and Candice Bergen. Right off the Champs-Elysées, it’s also full of history. Built in the 19th century and fully restored, the hotel’s discreet location on Rue Jean Goujon is owned by the Lebanese Georges family. I sat down with Zeina George, one of two sisters managing the hotel, during Paris’ SS20 shows in September. Showing me around the hotel, it is clear that the San Regis is a pride and joy of the family, as they work hard to make it feel like a home away from home. The hotel’s intimate settings allow for guests to be known by staff and vice versa.
With distinctive style of 30 bedrooms and 12 suites, 4 of which are terrace junior suites with private balconies and Eiffel Tower views, you get the style, cleanliness and quintessential Parisian hospitality that other luxury hotels offer in the city. Exquisite fabrics from the finest fabric houses add to the elegant decor. You can grab a pre- fashion show bite to eat at the hotel’s restaurant Les Confidences, headed by Chef Romain Leydier, with its seasonal menu and grand glass roof that gives the ambience of being in a winter garden. Or, grab a snack at The Bar & Tea Room.
