Summer Style: How to Look Great This Summer

When we think of summer, we think of the beach, vacations, and sunny days. How do we look great this summer? It’s simple: wear what you like and what works best for you!

When it comes to wearing what you like, think of what outfit you would feel comfortable in. Whether it’s a dress or a shirt with shorts, if you feel comfortable wearing that outfit, it should be fine. But, if you choose something because of what everyone else might be wearing, then that’s a huge mistake since you’re most likely going to feel uncomfortable wearing that outfit since you didn’t choose it. Think of the place you’ll be wearing that outfit at. If it’s a wedding or some event, keep in mind what the dress code is and then dress accordingly, but don’t forget that being comfortable is also important at the same time since you want to feel your best as well.

What works best for others may not work for you at all, so keep that in mind when choosing an outfit to wear. Even if you must go to work or attend a virtual meeting at home, it’s possible to wear what you like and find an outfit that works for you. You can always choose a top with dark or plain jeans since most likely your whole outfit won’t be visible during the meeting. Please don’t wear tights, leggings, shorts, or anything else that isn’t good for work as you don’t want to take a chance that someone notices that if you do happen to get up or something. It just doesn’t give a good impression at all (believe it or not, jeans are alright if they aren’t torn or something).

If you happen to be traveling now and going on a staycation or vacation, pack according to the place you’re going to. Consider the weather and your mode of transportation. It’s easy to pack something that may work for a staycation but not necessarily for a vacation (like maybe the place you’re going to is humid). Pack outfits that you like and what you know will look good on you. You don’t want to pack fancy outfits that look good in the pictures you take but that don’t work well with the weather outside. You’re sure to have a great vacation if you pack well.
