Oh Holy Night

To take a small break from writing an in depth Friday post, I’d like to send a verse from a Christmas carol. May its words be a blessing as you read and ponder them:

Oh Holy Night

Truly He taught us to love one another. His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother. And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name.

All best as you finish up your Christmas plans. And let us remember who Christ is and what it means to be a follower of Him- forgiving, loving, letting go so that we can lay hold, being joyful, watching our tongues, exhibiting peace, being patient, showing kindness, being gentle, and being self- controlled.

 Happy Friday! xx
