American Young Announces May UK Tour

American Young are returning to perform in the UK next month. It’s been a while since they’ve been back in Britain, with Covid inhibiting concerts, but the duo like their other Country counterparts are getting back into the swing of things.

During the pandemic Kristy Osmunson had a baby but she’s excited about Europe: “We are looking forward to heading to our home away from home in the UK. We have met the most amazing people from all around England. It’s been a couple years since our last visit, so we are bringing new music on our new album to share with everyone,” she shares in notes.

Osmunson and her singing partner John Stone have headlined over 20 different shows around the world. They also released their second album Ayii in November of last year. The song ‘Country Girls’ from the album was co-written and co-produced with label-mate, Lee Brice, and has had over 100,000 views.

UK May Shows:

Sun., 29 May, 2022 | Country In The Afternoon | London

Thu., 2 June, 2022 | Buckle & Boots | Manchester

ABOUT AMERICAN YOUNG:

American Young is made up of Country singer/songwriters Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone, both of whom found success in Nashville before joining forces in 2013. Prior to launching American Young, Osmunson, a fiddle player and former member of vocal group Bomshel, had songs recorded by Joey + Rory, among others; while Stone was an in-demand producer who had cuts recorded by Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, and others. Following the release of their self-titled debut for Curb Records, featuring the singles “Love Is War” and “Wasn’t Gonna Drink Tonight,” American Young was nominated three years in a row for a British Country Music Association Touring Award, which they won in 2019 solidifying their place as global ambassadors of Country music. The duo can be seen on the first three seasons of the hit E! reality series “Very Cavallari.”
