John Travolta returns to Cannes
It was Pulp Fiction, She’s So Lovely, and Primary Colors that brought Travolta to Cannes all those years ago, and it is Propeller One-Way Night Coach that will bring the Grease star back. Distributed by Apple Original Films, Propeller One-Way Night Coach is a film in competition.
Travolta has 70+ films under his belt and the 72-year-old isn’t slowing down. The film is about aviation, something the actor and now director is passionate about. In his films Look Who’s Talking and Broken Arrow, Travolta flew planes. And as a child he watched planes taking off from his house, near LaGuardia Airport and at 15 he started flying, later obtaining his license at 22.
This film is an adaptation of the book written by Travolta and published in 1997. The film is produced by his production company JTP Films Inc and Kids At Play. After the festival, Apple TV will release the film on May 29th.
