Dylan Scott and Jimmie Allen's Track 'In Our Blood' Is One of Respect And Harmony
Music artists Dylan Scott and Jimmie Allen, a Grammy Award nominated and CMA and ACM award winner have joined forces to create their track ‘In Our Blood.’ Pointing out that they’re more alike than different, the two are able to capture a familiar sound with their harmonies.
It’s a song about faith and having respect for others, something that’s much needed with the strife that pieced the US in the past few years. Written by David Fanning, Brad Rempel, and Matt McGinn, and produced by Will Weatherly and Matt Alderman it’s a song that hits you with its melody or the shared human existence. The track is on Scott’s soon-to-be album ‘Living My Best Life,’ that will be revealed August 5th.
The album will be one of familiarity for a lot of people. It’s personal with topics of backroads, barstools, and church pews- moments from Scott’s Louisiana upbringing. Writers for the albums include Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelly Thomas Rhett, Hardy, and others.
Scott is a multi-Platinum singer with two No. 1 singles at radio (“My Girl” and “Nobody”), as well as Top 5 hit “Hooked.” Following his first career nomination for “Best New Country Artist” at the all-genre iHeartRadio Music Awards and a coveted spot among Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces of Country Music, his Platinum-certified ode to his wife, “Nobody,” earned him a 2021 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year.
