Launched in April 2025, L’Homme is the right balance for the East and West man
Elie Saab’s newest and first men’s fragrance L’Homme is masculine in essence. It’s strong but it’s agreeable. Somehow Mr. Saab and his olfactory team were able to strike the right balance between the regal notes of the East and the straightforwardness of the West.
Launched in April 2025, L’Homme is the alter ego of the brand’s women’s fragrance Le Parfum. According to the brand, “this new men’s fragrance is an interpretation of the masculine through the eyes of Elie Saab: charismatic, confident, with innate elegance and exuding an auro imbued with modernity.”
Working with French perfumer Pierre Guéros, who was able to create a fragrance of contrasts, drawing out both light and dark into one bottle. “The idea was to convey an unequivocal yet sophisticated contemporary masculinity, bringing together East and West. I immersed myself in the world of Elie Saab to bring the House’s exclusivity to my creation,” says Guéros in collection notes. The top notes include Pink Berries and Bergamot, while the middle notes are made of Vetiver and Cederwood, and the base notes are comprised of Myrrh and the cocoa notes of Patchouli.
L’Homme comes in a refillable bottle designed by Sylvie de France (who also designed the Le Parfum bottle). Masculine in every sense of the word, it has graphic lines with rounded corners that reflect light. The base of the bottle is clear, while the top of the bottle has a smoky black gradient that reveals an amber color of the Eau de Parfum. And on the cap, you’ll find the Elie Saab monogram ensconced on the cap.
