Elisabetta Franchi’s SS26 Women’s Collection Light And Shadow Is All About The Woman Who Knows Who She Is

Set at Milan’s Palazzo Acerbi, Elisabetta Franchi unveiled her spring-summer 2026 collection. As the rain was pouring down, guests were met with blush pink carpet and pink lighting. Set in mystery, strength, and history, the location was aimed to transform guests into the future. Quite simply, it’s a collection for the woman who leads and commands. She sets the stage with her independence, magnetism, and self-assuredness.
Watching the collection come down the runway, the first thing that jumped out was the tailored silhouettes. Tailored blazers exude the shoulders in a unique and feminine way. The body is sculpted yet not constrained. Jersey fabric is draped while tulle exudes a kind of transparency. Cuts in the leather pants and jackets, in tripolino, give a voluminous effect.
The trench, particularly the oversized trench, is a focal point coming off the Milan runway. For the House, it gives way for a new chapter in outerwear: it’s enveloping, sensual, and imposing. Pea coats are done in satin with a raised texture that looks like ostrich leather. Denim is reinvigorated with frays and abrasions to give a liberated feel.
Franchi and her design team stayed in a steady color tone of black, butter, nude, boudoir pink, cocoa, and clay. Every textile, color tone, cut, and style were to represent ten words: Empowerment, Femininity, Seduction, Determination, Beauty, Strength, Dedication, Energy, Evolution, and Future.
Quite frankly, it’s a collection for the woman that not only knows how to live her life and tell her story through sartorial style, but also knows how to define her identity.
