Dolce&Gabbana Launches Its First Alcohol-Free Fragrance For Dogs: Fefé

Fefé by Dolce&Gabbana launched earlier this month, has been created with care and precision for your pet pooch, not to upset their olfactory sensitivities, by Emily Coppermann. Named after Domenico Dolce and Guilherme Siqueira’s dog Fefé, it’s the first luxury alcohol-free fragrance for dogs. But, if I may ask something, after smelling its divine notes for myself: where is Fefé for humans? I mean, I wouldn’t mind wearing it because it’s just that good.

Coming in bright yellow packaging with a raised paw on the front, it’s true Dolce&Gabbana style. The bottle is glass, green, lacquered, and topped with a red metal cap- and has a 24-carat gold-plated paw on the front. It’s luxury for your dog to the highest standards.

Filmed with a bit of humor, the campaign features Fefé himself amidst flashing lights, as he sits on a stool like a celebrity. Joined by his furry friends. “Like real movie stars, the charming novice actors present themselves to the cameras with pride and a touch of irony, revealing the different aspects of their personalities to discover and love: rebellious and delicate, charismatic and sensitive, enigmatic and irresistible,” explains the Italian House in notes.

The fragrance is comprised of Ylang Ylang, Musk, and the woodiness of Sandalwood. To ensure that it is safe for dogs, it is ethologist approved, veterinarian approved, and dog owner approved. It is also certified to the standards of the Safe Pet Cosmetics, a voluntary protocol that comes under the same standards regulating human-use-cosmetics. This protocol is granted by the Bureau Veritas Italia, a compliance recognition ensuring that animals are respected. And, one of its pros is that it controls bad odors from your K-9.

It’s cute, it’s fresh, it’s tender, and it’s the perfect gift for your dog or a friend’s dog that will have them smelling like luxury in all the right places.
