Review: Fenty Skin Cookies n Clean Face Mask Is Minty Goodness

It’ll have you wanting a mint chocolate bar

One of the best face detox face masks you can do, especially after the busyness of the Christmas season is Fenty’s Skin Cookies N Clean. It’s affordable and reminiscent of mint chocolate, and its cool minty texture gives a soothing feeling to the skin. Not only this, Rihanna used the product to get Oscar ready this year, which aided in her wanting to have smaller pores and a clean look.

Developed by Fenty Beauty, it’s a rather genius invention, awakening a hunger for all things mint and chocolate, with a whipped type of topping. Now, I’m not a fan of mint chocolate- only in hot chocolate. But as soon as you open the container and catch a whiff of the face cream, it’ll melt the fiercest anti-mint chocolate heart and make you want to eat an Andes Crème de Menthe chocolate bite while the cream is resting on your face.

But I digress. Made from salicylic acid, charcoal, and kaoin, it’s perfect for those with oily skin and those with large pores. The charcoal beads, which are like “the mint chocolate chips,” are an exfoliation. When you open the green container and whip a dollop of cream into your palms and begin spreading it on your face, you feel the icy coolness. Letting it stay on for 10-15 minutes, you wash it off with a warm wet cloth, and your face feels clean and moisturized.
