This sparks a new chapter in the intersection of fragrance and sport

For over fifty years the world has known Ralph Lauren for his high luxury haberdashery. And when Ralph Lauren expanded from fashion into fragrances in 1978, the world was taken by storm and his scents became best-selling. Polo Red, originally conceived in 2013 has continued to captivate men. Known for its woody spiciness, the brand has modernized it, making Lando Norris the face of it.

Crafted by perfumer Olivier Grillotin, the top notes include Sparkling Red Grapefruit Oil, Cedrat Oil, Cranberry Accord, Lemon Oil; the mid notes are comprised of Spicy Red Saffron Accord, Lavandin, Clary Sage Oil; and the base notes are filled with Redwood Accord, Ambery Woods Accord, and Coffee Berry Accord. This revitalized Polo Red is inspired by Ralph Lauren’s car collection, hence the racing red color, matte black accents, and sleek curves.

It was key for Ralph Lauren Fragrances to choose someone that represents speed and adrenaline because that’s what Polo Red is known for, and Norris exudes all of it. From an early age Norris was a success in the racing world. Today he is a renowned international driver due to his motivation and artistry on the track, as well as his connection with fans and followers on social media. Today Norris is aiming to win the World Driver Championship, with 23 podiums in his Formula 1 career.

“It’s been an honor to partner with Ralph Lauren Fragrances on a campaign that reflects how I feel when I race,” says Norris. “Polo Red feels like the moment just before a race, when my helmet goes on, the adrenaline kicks in, and it's time to go.”

Polo Red can be found at RalphLauren.com and select retailers in 125 ml for $76, 75 ml for $61 and 45 ml for $44.
