Givenchy Celebrates is 10 Year Anniversary With Its Antigona Family Of Bags, And the Launch Of A New Bag- The Antigona Soft
If you were at Givenchy’s AW20 show, you will remember it was captivating from the time that the first model stepped out until the last model of the finale left the runway. The House of Givenchy is now celebrating its iconic Antigona family of bags, in its 10th anniversary, which was seen on the AW20 runway
The Antigona bag embodies strength and authority, and the Antigona Soft bag, is a supple version with more relaxed version of its older sister. With its curvaceous lines encapsulates vitality and confidence of an embrace. Because of its size, the woman who carriers the Antigona Soft has to be embraced with its short straps.
The House’s Artistic Director, Clare Waight Keller, created Antigona Soft to accentuate the mood of relaxed elegance for the ready-to-wear collection. With a very architectural design, the calfskin holds the signature geometric triangle patch shape of its elder sister.
The Antigona Soft comes in timeless black, white, pearl gray, aubergine and midnight blue as well as a seasonal palette of candy pink, dune, military green and ice blue. Directional variations include styles in dip-dyed leather, vintage leather with hand-placed studs; embroidered, printed stripes; a lustrous gradient gold metallic finish on black leather, and a bag in woven cord and leather.
In boutiques now, the retail price for the bag starts 1,450 euros for the Antigona Soft and from 1,290 euros for the classic Antigona.
