Pamela Anderson Attends the Vivienne Westwood Show Sans Makeup

The former Baywatch actress attended Paris Fashion Week makeup-less, opting for a more natural look.

Arriving in a Vivienne Westwood creation, in a patterned brown oversized trench coat, Anderson posed boldly to the outside crowds. Also, in attendance were actor Christina Hendricks and models Irina Shayk and Barbara Palvin, who recently married actor Dylan Sprouse. Shayk changed from her arrival punk Vivienne Westwood outfit to walk in a tailored corset dress towards the end of the show. But all eyes were on what Andreas Kronthaler, Westwood’s husband was going to unveil sartorially.

“I organized and numbered Vivienne's personal wardrobe, clothes we did together,” states Kronthaler in collection notes. Exiting backstage with the models for the finale, it’s clear Kronthaler, a former student of Westwood and who died in December, was overcome with jovial emotion.

Held in the heart of Paris, in Place Vendôme, where haute joaillerie boutiques are housed was the spring/ summer 2024 Vivienne Westwood collection unveiling. Ever punk, atypical, and edgy, the way Westwood lived her life describes the collection. “I loved the way she dressed. Always the opposite of everybody else wore things until they fell apart - her corduroy suit which she wore over twenty years constantly. A great mender always done in bed - never wasted anything. She understood how to make the most of herself - the most of it,” continues Kronthaler.

The first look, the Inferno Jacket was taken from the exhibition autumn- winter 2004/2005. Kronthaler matched it with pants and a classic twill button down shirt.

While the Bodybuilder Dress, done in glass beaded linen and printed fringe, sparked the atypical vibes the brand is known for. T-shirts are paired with sheer miniskirts, while the Shirley Body suit is knit and worn with a Cropped Bellboy Jacket, done in silk linen.

But the last two dresses at the end stole the show, the Irina Infanta in silk moire and the Cora Infanta dress, also in silk moire from the 2015 ‘War & Peace’ collection exude elegance, a trending theme from this SS24 season.
