The Perfect Fall Loafer Has Just Dropped With JW Anderson And UGG

Dropping on October 15th, the new collection is a solution to everyday wear…

I don’t know about you but since Paris Fashion Week and its hot temps, I’ve been ready for a cool down. But, be that as it may, while it is still an Indian summer for many, JW Anderson’s eponymous brand has dropped a cozy collection of loafers with UGG® that will get us fall ready, when temps decide to settle down everywhere. The reworked collection of the Classic Boot and Tasman are all about ease and utility, coupled with JW Anderson’s signature of proportion and construction.

“UGGs are instantly recognizable, and I was interested in seeing something so familiar through the lens of JW Anderson,” explains Anderson in collection notes. “For me, collaboration is about experimentation, bringing two distinct points of view together and seeing where that leads. We’ve explored the loafer extensively at JW Anderson, not only as footwear but also through its details applied to bags and ready-to-wear. I wanted to see how that language could translate into UGG.”

The collection are shoes that find balance in the in between of a loafer and a slipper, of the everyday and the dressed. Toes are rounded and box-stitched to fit UGG’s familiarity that we’re all used to.

It’s a unisex collection coming in Chestnut, Khaki, and Oranges purposed and picked by Anderson himself. Cushioning is enhanced to maximize comfort with the brand’s original forms.
