Pharrell’s Swan Ranks Among the Best Celebrity-Owned Restaurants In The US
De Niro’s Nobu is #1
Robert DeNiro, Pharrell Williams, Mark Wahlberg, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock- these are just a few names of celebrity owned restaurants in the US and around the world. Restaurants can be a hard industry to enter into. For 2026, it’s predicted that only 17% of restaurants will fail in their first year, and about 51% of them will survive past their 5th year of business, according to an article written by Owner, with original findings taken from the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics. It certainly can help having a celebrity behind a restaurant and according to a study done by BLogic Systems, Pharrell Williams’ Swan, which is temporarily closed for renovations, ranks as the best celebrity-owned restaurant in the US.

The study analyzed 12 celebrity owned restaurants in the US, judging success on three factors: annual revenue (50% of the final score), industry awards and recognition (30%), and customer sentiment based on online reviews (20%).
It also found Swan as 2026’s most discussed restaurant, generating $19.5 million annually. The restaurant is a partnership between Pharrell and David Grutman of Groot Hospitality. Having existed for 8 years, the Miami 218 seat hotspot attracts major online interest, with hundreds of thousands of monthly searches driven by its design, location, and celebrity appeal. With plans for extension, the brand is expanding into hospitality through the Goodtime Hotel, showing how Swan has grown into a broader lifestyle concept. Its performance highlights how visibility, design, and brand power can translate into real business results.
Nobu has over 50 restaurants worldwide and has taken in $900M to $1.3B in revenue in its 32-year history, along with 24 awards. Its London location alone generates up to $30 million a year, and a new location is opening in Cairo this year. Launched by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper the restaurant is still a favorite for luxury Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.
