RayBan and A$AP Rocky Throw An Exclusive After Party In Cannes

The evening brought together global celebrities, key opinion leaders, press, and tastemakers — all curated by Ray-Ban and Rocky himself
On Monday night RayBan and A$AP Rocky hosted an afterparty in Cannes, where the rapper unveiled his newest creation for the brand: the Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer. Held behind the Palais des Festivals on the superyacht “This Is It,” after A$AP Rocky’s much anticipated movie premier Highest 2 Lowest. Directed by Spike Lee, the film also features Denzel Washington, Jeremey Wright and Ilfenesh Hadera.

“This Is It,” is a superb creation of its own. A luxury catamaran it’s a floating world of style, architecture, and sound. “Inside, the atmosphere echoed the charm of an old-school cinema — with meticulous attention to detail. Red uplighting, cigars, Rocky’s signature cocktails, and even popcorn added a refined yet playful edge,” states event notes.
As guests ascended the stairs onto the yacht, they were met with a photo call where they could pose with photos wearing the new Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer sunglasses. In the middle of the yacht was the bar where guests sipped on cocktails, and munched on canapes that were passed around. And at the back of the yacht, DJ Kelvin Krash put on a set by A$AP Lou.

Attending were A$AP Rocky and his partner Rihanna who is pregnant with their third child. Jeffrey Wright, Formula 1 racer Lance Stroll, hospitality businessman Richie Akiva, event producer Sebastian Norena, Toni Garrn, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse, Paul Pogba, Diamant Blazi, Jameela Jamil, to actress Kelly Rutherford, French actor Theo Christine, Alex Consani, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell, Alton Mason, Evan Ross, Leomie Anderson, Shuzo, Ikram Abdi, and Ryan Destiny.
