Review: The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
Amenities
Stunning beach front access to the Arabian Gulf.
The hotel is surrounded by several restaurants.
Perfect for Afternoon Tea
Any good hotel should be like a living room in a community, where hotel guests and visitors feel like they can gather, meet, dine, and feel welcome. As hotelier Jerry Inzerillo, who has been in the hotel business for fifty years has said in many-a-speech, an even better hotel is like an inn with innkeepers that are personal with all who pass through its doors. While the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is a hotel with a wide range of amenities and services, it is also inn-like, personal, intimate, and a living room in the Emirati capital’s Jumeirah 2 area.
Opening at the end of 2014, it was Four Seasons’ first hotel to open in Dubai and it’s a truly one of a kind and only of its kind in Jumeirah 2. Of course, there are other luxury beachfront hotels in the area, but what sets the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach apart from the rest is- from our personal experiences- are the friendly and talkative staff. In a world where people have become more individual, keeping to themselves, it’s not the case for this hotel's staff. There’s a warmth and hospitality to chat with guests making them feel like they are visiting family and not just staying at a hotel. There's also a willingness to make it right when challenges may arise. Any good hotel or restaurant will work to fix problems, but this hotel goes above and beyond to find solutions.
This is a resort and must be treated accordingly. You can stay here on business but we'd recommend DIFC for that. Instead, come to this property to unwind, relax, and take a pause from the busyness of life. We recommend you treat the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach as a resort vacation, staycation.
Where Is it?
Close to the Mall of Dubai, the largest mall in the world, the hotel offers the best of shopping and going to the beach. Located in Jumeirah 2, which stretches along the Arabian Gulf giving the vibe of a well inclusive resort.

What’s It Like?
As soon as you drive up onto the hotel’s premises, you’re met with lush foliage native to the region. The Date Palm trees are aplenty, drawing you in and making you feel like you’re at a luxury desertscape, which you are. As you enter through the hotel, most striking is the gold wall, wall of flowers, and marble floors. The taupe tones walls scattered through the hotel brings in light and a relaxed mood, typing in the region’s culture with Arab pierced pressed tin chandelier’s scattered throughout the hotel.
Room
The Imperial Suite is 2,260 square feet and can fit 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children (under the age of 12). As soon as you walk in, you'll be taken by the palatial design and regality of the suite. There is a half bath, as well as a full bath. On one end of the suite is a kitchen with a mini fridge, sink, and coffee bar. There is a dining room that seats six and a living room with L-shaped sofa and large screen TV. The hotel's maintenance can set up an Apple TV connection, so that guests can access streaming services.
There is a walk-in closet with the most beautifully designed wood detailing. There's lots of space for a family to unpack, as well as a large safe. The bedroom is spacious with sitting chairs, flat screen TV, one king bed, and a desk. Both the bedroom and living room have balconies with views of the pool area and sea. The full bathroom is marbled with a rain shower and deep soaking bathtub.
The Imperial Suite is perfect for a staycation weekend, with the intent of staying inside the room, with the exception of dining at one of the hotel restaurants or going to the pool or beach.
Food
Breakfast is served daily from 7 to 11:30 AM in the hotel restaurant, or you can opt to enjoy it in your room with room service.
An absolute must try is afternoon tea at Shaï Salon in the atrium of the hotel for $70 USD (260 AED) per person. A mindful menu of the region, sweet and savory items take inspiration from the Emirates. Offered daily from 3pm to 7pm, each guest is given the welcome drink of hojicha sparkling tea. Instead of serving the sweet and savory items on a tiered stand, items are served in courses (or as the hotel is calling “sequences.” The first sequence includes free range egg and black truffle- our favorite, confit tuna with Kalamata olive tapenade, minted cucumber, and sous vide organic chicken breast and artichoke tartlet. The third sequence is a pre-dessert creation called Fra-sea Vacherin. Cleansing the palette, the sweet and sour strawberry juice paired with the French meringue and strawberry and basil sorbet is divine and prepares for the fourth sequence. This sequence includes chocolates caprice, a creation called “raspberry” made of a soft almond biscuit, raspberry marmalade, lemon cream, and raspberry Chantilly. And the fifth sequence is a blueberry tart “Le Clafoutis de Jeannot.” As for teas, there is a large selection of loose-leaf teas, black teams from Organic Darjeeling to Assam English Breakfast; as well as Oolong Tea, Herbal Infusion, Flowering Tea, Green Teas like Jasmine Phoenix Pearls tea, white teas, and iced teas.
The tasting menu at Sea Fu is the best way to dine | Photo Provided By: Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
Sea Fu is a seafood fusion restaurant onsite at the hotel with indoor and outdoor dining. A seasonal restaurant due to the heat, it will close soon and re-open in early fall but it’s known for its tasting menu for $177 USD (650 AED). The six-course meal with wine or tea pairing is the absolute way to go. Starting with Otoro Usuzukuri, an ehime bluefin otoro tuna fish, it pairs well with the pickled apple, kizami wasabi, and ginger ponzu sauce. The platter of Sushi and Sashimi comes with the chef’s selection of fish (when we dined eel, tuna, and salmon were on the menu). The third course includes Grilled Hokkaido Scallops, the fourth course is Mediterranean Seared Sea Bass Fillet, the fifth is Grilled Wagyu Beef Tenderloin, and the final course, a sweet course, is Asian Chocolates.
If the weather isn’t too hot, it’s nice to dine outside at Jou Jou, with its Mediterranean fare you’ll feel like you’re sitting in the South of France | Photo Provided By: Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
JouJou opened at the end of 2024 and it’s an on-site brasserie with French- Mediterranean flair. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and there's a weekend brunch too. Taking its name for the French word for "toy," the idea is to have joy and not miss out on life's pleasures. You must try the Burrata. The Datterino tomatoes bring out the flavor and it pairs nicely with the Croquetas, a Spanish tapa of deep fried Cod fish with black lemon mayonnaise. The main course items range from pasta like the Lobster Pasta to Mushroom Risotto to their Roasted Yellow Chicken, Sea Bass and Sea Bream options, and Veal Milanese. There are also sharing options like the Whole Mediterranean Sea Bass, Dover Sole Meunière, Braised Waygu Short Ribs, and a Roasted Rack of Lamb.
The indoor pool | Photo Provided By: Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
Leisure there is an onsite gym with lots of space, as well as an indoor pool. Outside there is a family pool and adult only pool, as well as the beach. In the adult only pool section, there are air-conditioned cabanas that are like mini pool houses that a few people can unwind and relax in. For the cabana, take advantage of the invitation to truly unwind and relax.
The Pearl Spa is on the ground floor of the hotel, on the same level as the gym, salons, padel, tennis court, and boutique. There's also an indoor pool. The spa has 10 treatment rooms, and services from massages to body treatments, and facials. Opt for the Pearl Bespoke Massage, which includes different massage techniques, or the Sleep Ritual that starts off with a foot bath scrub and ends with a massage. Afterwards, guests can enjoy the Jacuzzi, Ice fountain, steam room and relaxation area.
Verdict without a doubt stay here. It’s a resort so the ability to unwind and relax is possible and you must take advantage of it.
