Roger Vivier Opens A New Paris Flagship Location On Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
This new boutique is a benchmark for the brand’s global retail expression, while further consolidating its presence in Paris…
French luxury shoe and accessories brand Roger Vivier opened a new flagship store in the heart of Paris today, just after the recent opening of its Rue de l’Université location in the fall. Paris is a central city for the brand, where its identity was birthed under Mr. Vivier in 1937, when its first boutique was opened.
Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is close to the first boutique that was opened on Rue Royale, a reason why the brand is keen on this location. Also, there is a lot of foot traffic and other luxury boutiques on Rue du Faubourg Saint that make the boutique an ideal location.
Set over two floors, it’s the largest Roger Vivier boutique in the world. Inside customers will find vibrant design, architecture, and craftsmanship in a space that’s retail and also an aesthetic translation of Mr. Vivier’s creative style. What sticks out the most is the staircase and flooring in Pierre de la Croix-Huyart. The walls in cream and mother-of-pearl-stucco by a Tuscan artisan mesh well with the custom pink Pierre Frey wallpaper. It really is a space that must be seen to be believed because it’s that elegant and inviting.
“An artisan will also be regularly present in- store, working on both iconic and seasonal designs, further anchoring the experience in the Maison’s savoir-faire and bringing the process of creation into direct dialogue with the client. ”
Throughout the boutique there are pieces by Hervé Van der Straeten, Louis XIV and XVI antiques, lithographs by Picasso and Poliakoff, a work byRené Gruau, as well as original sketches and collages by Mr. Vivier himself.

A unique touch in the boutique are the made-to-order bespoke services, a method for enhancing clients experiences. Starting at the Paris boutique this service will spread to others around the globe. It’s here that clients can customize shoes, handbags, evening pieces, and bridal wear by choosing which materials, colors, buckles and finishes they desire. Part of the Salle d’Argent, it’s a space finished in real silver leaf that’s inspired by Mr. Vivier’s Rue de Grenelle studio from 1935. The personal services in the boutique is a nod to the brand’s exclusivity and attention what clients are wanting.
You can visit the new boutique at 20 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Paris 75008.
