Tonight, is when television and emerging media is recognized at the annual Emmy Awards. One of the four major award shows, no movies are recognized, so that leaves a lot of categories for TV to get their due  

Airing on Fox at 8PM EST, this year’s Emmys are four months late, as they were due to air September 18, 2023. But because of the actors and writers strike of 2023, they were pushed back with hopes that the unions would have reached a deal. The Golden Globes and Critic’s Choice Awards have already happened and the stylistic trends are classic Hollywood elegance, red, white, black, colored suits for men, and double-breasted jackets for men- some even made of velvet.
