If you don’t see any traces of God answering your prayer yet, don’t give up on God. An answer is coming and sometimes not in the form you hope. Let the testing of your faith (the waiting) have its good work in you so that you can develop perseverance and therefore you will not lack anything

It takes around 2 ½ months, from the time of sowing to the time of harvest, for carrots to grow. And don't forget you plant and harvest carrots in different seasons. 

I can’t pull God down by the shirt collar from heaven and put Him in front of a person’s face and say, “here, here is your physical material proof that God exists.”

Yay- the best season is here! Ok, so yeah, I am biased but autumn is pretty cool- boots, jackets, hats, scarves, #PSL (Pumpkin Spice Lattes), and apple orchard picking! It’s a new season of new things for many people.

We know from God’s character that He loves obedience and there are consequences to disobedience. It’s not easy to wait on God and there are days you’ll want to scream and give up on God...

In life and at different seasons we find ourselves asking God “what is it that you want from me?” Perhaps we find ourselves asking that when we’re in great need of something, and it’s not happening, so in exasperation we cry out to God “if it’s anything I’ve done/I am doing wrong please tell me- I’ll correct it. What is it that you want from me? I don’t know what to do anymore?”

We are all incomplete. We are sometimes victims and we are sometimes oppressors. We are sometimes the Israelites in slavery in Egypt. And we are sometimes Pharaoh oppressing others with a bad attitude, mistreatment, selfishness, or hatred.

When you’re waiting on God for something, how is your thinking being directed? Is it full of confident expectation that He will deliver at the right time? Or, do you curse God after the blessing hasn’t come in your desired time?

It will be the most difficult of people that make us stronger; the most controlling of people that will make us relaxed and secure; the most insecure people that will make us confident; the most selfish of people that will make us humble; the most selfish of people that will make us giving; the most meanest, angry and evil of people that will make us love and forgive.

I, you, we don’t like when we’re hit with a challenge. We don’t like when bad seasons befall us- job loss, a relationship we wanted fails, mistreatment, a business deal goes bad, betrayal, rejection, we lose our home, or a friendship goes sour.

Anyone, whether Christian or non-Christian, should immerse themselves in the book of Proverbs. There are practical and spiritual life applications that can save a fool from folly.

When you choose to do something, an uplifting task that will bless others and build up God’s kingdom, buckle up because the enemy will throw everything he’s got in various forms at you, to stop you- but have faith, trust God, and keep moving.
