As the renowned Italian heritage celebrates 50 years, it has been taking over the city with key events
Armani has been keeping the 82nd edition of the Venice Film Festival beauty-ready this year with a roster of dinners, a soiree, and red-carpet brand appearances. The fashion House started fifty-years ago, while Armani Beauty started twenty-five years ago, and for the last 8 years Armani Beauty has continued to lead the beauty helm for the festival as an official sponsor.
The festival kicked off on August 27th and will run until September 6th. On Thursday night, Armani Beauty hosted a dinner for influencers where it was mainly European influencers in attendance. This year, not many US talent was brought over, perhaps due to the economic slump that has hit luxury fashion. Attending were Bernicia Boateng and Sophie Murry, both from the UK. Count Nikolai of Monpezat and Julia Haller from Switzerland were also in attendance.
On Friday night, a dinner was held at the Doge’s Palace by Armani Beauty. The architecture alone of the palace is mesmerizing as it overlooks and dominates St. Mark’s Square, a place known for its history and art. Encapsulated within the gilded halls, guests were able to partake in a quintessential Venetian experience that elevated the evening.

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Madisin Rian, who is the first Black woman face of Armani Beauty were also in attendance. Guests chatted and dined on burrata cheese ravioli with seafood stew, seared sea bass, and a peach, lemon, and litchi sorbet.
And on Saturday night, Giorgio Armani, the fashion side of the brand, hosted its annual after party at Arsenale that included brand ambassadors and friends of the House. Attendees sipped on Palomas and champagne, while the DJ spun tunes and people danced and hung out. Even at the wee hours of Sunday morning around 2am, guests were still arriving. The ambience felt more like a fashion show, where once you entered the indoor party space, Giorgio Armani runway show clips from the archive flashed on the walls and ceiling. The theme of the night was Armani/ Archivio where the brand’s history from the 90s to present day was a nostalgic reminder of half a century of iconic fashion that the House has given to the world.
