Healing Seasons- By La Hall

Be patient, then brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.
— JAMES 5:7, NIV

Some of us smell the promise of pumpkin pie, jumping in piles of leaves, and hot chocolate after a brisk or Sunday kinda stroll in our precious free time, whilst others hold their thoughts to colder breezes, leaves to rake and in the distance the sound of frosted windshields and even earlier starts to our day.

I find myself preparing my landscape for winter.  I watch Mother earth putting the plants to bed much like my mother did with my sister's and I.

I look over my shoulder very fleetingly now as I embrace this new change of season. I also remember Mahatma Gandi said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world."

Happy Fall everyone!
