Instant Beautification: 3 Beauty Tricks To Transform The Way You Feel Right Now

As the pandemic continues, this month seems to be no different than the one before. We may not have as many opportunities to dress up and put on makeup or what not, but that doesn’t mean we can’t feel good with the way we look like at the moment. Here’s three beauty tricks that will instantly transform the way you feel right now.

The first beauty trick sounds simple enough but is quite tough to implement: go one whole day makeup-free. There are so many times now that we can do this especially if we are planning to stay at home this Valentine’s Day. I’ve gone makeup-free quite a few times, including a few events and what not when possible. I felt so wonderful the days I did not have to put on makeup. Plus, my skin felt great! So, why not try this out? You’ll appreciate the way you look naturally and it’s a wonderful confidence booster.

The second beauty trick is to only use one piece of makeup to highlight your favorite facial feature. I tend to go for a neutral foundation when I don’t need to wear much makeup and on days when my skin looks like it needs a bit of help. You can even just choose to use some lipstick if your lips are your favorite feature. Just choose one and see how much more beautiful you’ll feel not having to put so much effort into looking all “done up.” You’ll also feel a sense of self-love bubbling up inside.

The third beauty trick is my personal favorite: leaving my hair as is for the day (besides combing it). Yes, that means no more straightening, curling, or whatever else it is you do to make your hair look all “perfect.” Leave your hair alone! It’s beautiful the way it is. As long as it’s natural, you shouldn’t care if a strand of hair is out of place or some gray hair is showing. Whatever your hair looks like after you comb it or tie it up or something, should not bother you. This is the real you! Embrace it.

So, here we are again with Valentine’s Day approaching as well as the rest of the year and all the lovely occasions that come along with it. Choose to be you and follow at least one of these beauty tricks. You won’t regret it! Here’s to self-love. And, who really doesn’t love self-love? I know I do and feel beautiful because of it.
