Jamie Foxx Hosts And Rita Ora Performs At The Summer Gala in Saint-Tropez

The night saw four Academy Award winning actors under one roof
This was the second edition of the Summer Gala by Gala One, to raise money for three organizations: King’s Trust International, Rainforest Trust, and Amend. More on these in moment. For one night, under the starry summer skies of the South of France, philanthropists, artists, and cultural tastemakers came together for a glamorous evening.
Set at the Golf Club of Saint-Tropez, renowned names from Casey Affleck, to Adrien Brody, and Leonardo DiCaprio were in attendance. The former two were gala chairs, while Emmy-nominated actress Nathalie Emmanuel, actor and producer Oliver Trevena, and Academy Award® winner and director Taika Waititi were all in attendance.
The gala started with a cocktail, where auction items were on display, like Urban Elephant, an original artwork by Adrien Brody showing raw street aesthetics with layered symbolism; Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves from his storied 1973 bout with Ken Norton; a Vespa GTR customized by pop artist Alec Monopoly; and a fully customizable BRW Roadster electric car — an elegant fusion of performance engineering and contemporary design.
As guests moved to dinner, they were entertained by the comedic personality of Jamie Foxx. Capturing the audience with charm and energy, throughout the evening and well into the auction. Then multi-platinum recording artist Rita Ora took to the stage, giving an unforgettable performance.
The money raised supports getting children to school safely in sub-Saharan Africa with life-saving road safety initiatives through Amend. King’s Trust International enables young people by giving them tools, confidence, and opportunities around the world- working to make sure they have a sustainable future. And the Rainforest Trust with their fight to save threatened tropical forests and endangered species, as well as uplifting local communities, were also partakers of the raised auction proceeds.
