Little Big Town To Launch Their New Album On August 28th

The member of Little Big Town (Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook) announced their 12th studio album, “It’s A Dying Art” will be launching on August 28th via MCA. The Multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-winning group are leaning into songs that dive into imperfection, emotion, and lived experiences, in what they’re calling “human-made” music. 

Having been together for 25 years, this new album flows into heartfelt and soulful lyrics that connect with audiences. With 13 tracks, the album includes songs like “Hey There Sunshine,” that debuted at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards; the relationship-worn “The Door” featuring Jason Isbell; the late-night soul of “Closing Time” with Kelsea Ballerini; the fiery “It’s Coming Around;” and the visceral “The Idea.”

“Closing Time” with six-time Grammy-nominated and multiple CMA and ACM Award winning singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini can be listened to now. It’s a song with a soulful slow beat, celebrating living in the moment as last call turns into a night that's too good to end.

This fall, Little Big Town will kick off their For The Art Of It Tour. Produced by Live Nation that will be in conjunction with the album drop. The U.S. and Canada dates kick off September 24th in St. Petersburg, FL, and includes stops in Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, and more this fall.

In December, the band will bring their holiday magic to Nashville’s famed “Mother Church of Country Music,” The Ryman Auditorium, for a three-night holiday residency. The Christmas Shows Ryman Residency will take place December 8-10, and will feature a mix of holiday classics and fan favorites from the chart-topping vocal group.
