The Frankie Shop Spring/Summer 2027: New York With a European Accent
New York streets meet the Quartier d’Aligre as The Frankie Shop unveils its Spring/Summer 2027 collection in Paris…
Set in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, the brand’s Parisian headquarters became a meeting point between its New York roots and European identity, where the two cities came together through the collection.
Staying connected to the city that made you who you are while continuing to move with the city around you is something worth noticing.

The Frankie Shop was founded by Gaëlle Drevet, a French native who built her life in New York while creating a brand for women who want to look good without losing sight of who they truly are. That duality is felt throughout the collection. It carries the essence of New York through clean tailoring, sharp lines, and pieces made for a woman on the move, while never shying away from color or personality. Among the standout pieces was a khaki trench cinched at the waist with a flash of cobalt at the cuff. A chocolate brown utility shirt was paired with belted Bermuda shorts, while a navy leather jacket with a high collar was layered over a soft green-striped wrap skirt.
Then the European heart steps in, with sheer floral layers in a crispy, lightweight fabric. From the delicate bomber and shorts set to a bold red jacket paired with a small drawstring bag, the collection plays with contrast while maintaining an effortless ease. Lightweight cotton, silk, and nylon bring movement and texture to the pieces, blending a distinctly European sensibility with the relaxed spirit of the Mediterranean, made to move from the streets of Paris to the Eastern coast.
What stayed with me was how The Frankie Shop can leave the city where it was established and still remain completely itself. New York was present in the attitude, but Paris was present in the way the 2027 collection was to move, layer, and be lived. It felt like a conversation between the two cities rather than a choice between them.

That same balance carried through the clothes. Everything felt polished, strategic and considered, but never overly formal. There was color, movement, and personality alongside pieces that could easily take you from a meeting to dinner without requiring a change in who you are.
Maybe that is what makes a brand recognizable. Not that every piece looks the same, but that the feeling stays with you wherever the clothes go. And perhaps that is exactly what The Frankie Shop’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection understands: great style travels well.
