Yasmin Mansour’s SS26 Collection In Photos
A brand with the most unique and enviable signature mille-feuille technique
During Paris Fashion Week, Doha-based and Egyptian born Yasmin Mansour showcased her first-ever collection in Paris. Shown at the Maison Pyramide showroom, the collection caught my attention, particularly because of its upcycling nature and unique signature style of fabric strips, called the mille-feuille technique. This technique is composed of Mansour’s sustainable layering method that uses unused fabric scraps that ae then transformed into one-of-a-kind looks. And this technique can be likened to the gills found under the cap of a mushroom. “This vision unfolds in a wardrobe that is both refined and accessible, articulated through a palette of earth-infused tones that ground the collection in organic elegance,” explains the brand in notes.
Distinct and unique don’t Mansour’s technique justice. It’s sharp, it’s well-defined, and it’s desirable. With the right accessories, this collection will create the most unique sartorial story.
