Mixing Country, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop, the new song is thought provoking and visual…

Breland has a new single, “No Smoking” that dropped last week. It’s a song with a mix of Country, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop on full display that captures the electric feeling of meeting someone who instantly commands your attention.

The lyrics bring a real-life scenario of a guy seeing a girl that catches his eye. The allure of such a situation is made alive in the words, and becomes even more palpable in the music video. In a night out at a lively country bar as he and his friends take in the music, neon lights, drinks, a woman catches his attention. As the night unfolds, the flirtation builds, capturing the excitement of a new connection and making it clear this is anything but a “regular high.”

Lyrics…

“There’s no smokin inside this bar / So I’m wondering / How they let you in here / Girl you burning up this sawdust floor in that sundress.”

"No Smoking is a simple pick-up line turned into a country banger,” explains Breland in announcement notes. “It’s been a while since I’ve dropped an original song, and I wanted to come with some energy. ‘No Smoking’ is the kind of song you can party to, let play on a night drive, or enjoy live at a concert or festival, and I’m excited for people to add it to their rotation."

Breland has kept a steady stream of collaborations and songwriting credits throughout 2026, most recently appearing on Scoot Teasley’s “Old Fashioned”. He also collaborated with Julia Cole on “Loving Someone Like That”, Chris Young on “If You’re Lucky”, and Two Friends on “Wildfire”. He also co-wrote songs for NE-YO’s country-inspired album Highway 79 that dropped this July, continuing to showcase his versatility as both an artist and songwriter across country and beyond.

Earlier this year, BRELAND released “In My Truck”, followed by “Go The Distance”, his contribution to Disney’s Main Street Country project. The track also earned praise from Fat Joe and Jadakiss on the Joe and Jada Podcast, following clearance from 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

Known for seamlessly fusing country, hip-hop, R&B, and pop, BRELAND has carved out a lane entirely his own. BRELAND's 2019 breakout single, “My Truck”, became a global phenomenon, surpassing 100M+ YouTube views and helping introduce a fresh, cross-genre perspective to country music. To date, BRELAND has amassed 3B+ lifetime streams across his catalog and currently reaches 1.7M+ monthly listeners on Spotify, further cementing his impact across genres and audiences. Since then, he has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, K. Michelle, Tay Keith, Pink Sweat$, Macklemore, JoJo, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, and more, underscoring both his versatility and his growing influence across genres.
