The St. Regis held their 14th annual World Snow Polo Championships in Aspen on December 18th, which saw the likes of Prince Harry, Colman Domingo, Phoebe Dynevor, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Nacho Figueras, and more. The theme of this year’s championship was shrouded by the sophistication of the House of Astor, and held against the backdrop of Rio Grande Park with Aspen’s snowy peaks, peaking through the trees.
“Guests indulged in the rituals and revelry for which St. Regis is known, including a celebratory sabrage and a festive Bloody Mary Bar showcasing signature iterations of the iconic cocktails alongside refined culinary offerings,” states event notes. This event is the only Snow Polo tournament in North America, and is one of Aspen’s top events that attracts visitors who are cultural leaders, celebrities, and tastemakers. Led by Argentinian polo player Nacho Figueras, the event honors the Astor family’s polo playing tradition, defined in their hotel, the St. Regis.
