Last week, Professors Without Borders held their annual reception at Morton House in Central London. Professors Without Borders is an NGO and social enterprise that specializes in university education. Started by friends Princess Tessy de Nassau, a Consultant; Dr. Caroline Varin, a professor; and Majeks Walker, a lawyer. All three had a vision to create something bigger than themselves and to give back.

In an intimate setting on Thursday night, the eve before International Women’s Day, the trio gathered with supporters in London over prosecco to talk about their upcoming summer school in Thailand that will be in a few short months.

The NGO hosts free summer schools in Sierra Leone, Uganda, Thailand and India. All three have a passion for education and they offer tailored education and training experiences to companies, organizations and students. All courses are taught by experienced professionals wo focus on skills building for the 21st century. In addition to all of this they offer free career development support.

All donations go directly to programming costs, as the trio doesn’t take a salary from donation.
