Jacquemus + French Football Federation + Nike Team Up

Standing at the intersection of sport, city life, and culture, the visual language of the French national team is reimagined through the Maison’s distinctive lens…

Now that’s a mouthful but all three are collaborating to create looks for the French national team. This collection has been created at the intersection of sport, city life, and culture, showcasing how football (or soccer) moves beyond the pitch. It’s a sport that’s rooted in millions of people’s identities spanning different generations, it’s part of city life, it impacts fashion and affirms identity.

For Simon Porte Jacquemus, the founder of Jacquemus who grew up in the South of France, this collaboration is a no brainer. Soccer is a way of life, championed in homes, cafes, and conversations. It’s a community binder. A lover of soccer, you find his love of the sport in the collection. The navy Nike tracksuit jacket takes inspiration from his youth. Etched in the collection is a visitation of 1990s soccer culture with clean lines, pure proportions, and French elegance.

You’ll find a palette of blue, white, and red- the colors of the French flag. The jersey will be worn by the French national team during major international moments this summer.

“It’s a collection that combines timeless sportswear references with the refined simplicity that defines the Jacquemus universe,” explains announcement notes. “Signature stripes are reinterpreted through a football perspective, while classic fabrics replace technical materials, creating pieces that feel honest, enduring and deeply connected to the heritage of the game.”

Joining the collaboration is Sports dans la Ville, a non-profit partner that aims to empower youth and uplift sport in France.

“More than a collection, this project is a tribute to the collective spirit of France, to the growing integration of culture within football, and to its enduring power to inspire, unite and create memories that last far beyond the game,” according to notes.
