But pride and arrogance in the penthouse let him to prison, and after 13 years of God working in his life, Joseph moved back to the penthouse.

Seele contributor, Ben Mack says that “Patience is a virtue,” is true. It’s not easy, of course. But what better reason for being patient is there than knowing that God has great things planned for us?

We live in a society where we all want things to happen now. Social media and societal influences affect our lives even if we don't know it. Seele contributor, Thomasena Thomas, says we pray and pray for the desires of our hearts and when it doesn't happen in the timing we want it to, we tend to lose hope. God makes us wait for a reason and he allows opportunities and blessings to happen in his timing.

If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? We can get so consumed with the deeper questions of our faith or simply get too busy to think about this question, and forget the basics of whether we're actually living and looking like a Christian. This week I will look at the topic of Fruit of the Spirit. If you were on trial for being a Christian, would the evidence show that the Fruit of the Spirit are overflowing and spilling out of you?

The fruit that are mentioned in Galatians 5 show that these attributes are attributes of God’s character. And He wants to see Himself in us. And just as He is patient with us, we must be patient with Him and with others.

I can relate to Sarah. She’s a go-getter. I’m a go-getter. Us go-getters make things happen. But despite us go-getters making things happen, there will be times in life that God will make us wait. There are times He will make us all wait for His promises. And there’s nothing worse than having to live with the consequences of not waiting on God.
