A Stair but Not the Whole Staircase
How do you know when to make a move? When to take that step and just do “it,” whatever “it” happens to be? It can be hard to know when to do “it,” especially when you’re trying to discern God’s will if He indeed wants you to do “it.” God will often show you a stair, to reassure you to move towards "it," but He may not show you the whole staircase. To take the stair is trust Him, even though you can't see the whole staircase.
Shifting from a Greek Mindset to a Hebrew Mindset
God is always moving and changing situations in our lives, and growing us. He wants to take us to new levels, but He won’t do all the work. We too have to do our part and shift from a Greek mindset to a Hebrew mindset.
Trust the Bus Driver
Life has many uncertainties- that’s its certainty. But Jesus is certain and because He is certain we can trust when He’s driving the bus. But, in order to trust Him we must surrender. The bus I decided to hop on, it’s driver and I couldn’t both sit in the driver seat. And just like with God, Him and “we” cannot sit in the driver seat of the route He has planned for our lives.

Reaction to Action- Moving On
When it’s time to move on from a thing God will let you know and confirm it. And sure, God understands your attachment to the old thing. And sure, there might need to be a period of mourning and sulking. But after time has passed, you’ll sense God saying “You have mourned long enough for this thing, and it's time to let it go.”
