"My relationship with Jesus has gone through a process lately. I had to step back, pause, and think about the relationship I used to have with Him," shares SEELE contributor Thomasena Thomas. "This year alone, I have evolved in my relationship with Jesus and because of this, I had to reset it."

For today's Friday Post, SEELE Editor, Ally shares in a new series that as we’re all getting back into the swing of things in this age of Covid, and as we start up again, we may be faced with questions of trying to discern the voice of God. In this new decade, the roaring 20s, what a roar it will be with seeing many signs and wonders from God. But, with moves of God in this year there will also be moves of the devil. In order to make it through 2020, we have to resolve to go deeper with God, to be in a deeper relationship with Him to overcome what the decade may throw at us.

We don’t know too much about Barnabas, born Joseph, but he was a Cypriot Jew from the tribe of Levi who grew up in Cypress, and it’s because of him that many new churches in first century were established.

Simone Smith wrestled with a porn addiction for years and shares that freedom is possible, and it’s best to not wake up “the baby”- porn- but just let it lie so you don’t have to wrestle with the addiction, she says.

Seele contributor, Thomasena Thomas points out the importance of how relationships are an important part of life. She says, 'relationships were designed by God and happen for a reason.' 

Have you ever felt emotional, like just breaking down in tears because you’re trying to keep everything inside? There are moments in life when tears  seem to be the only solution to all that’s going on inside. It’s important to let it out and I think God wants us to let out and express our emotions in a healthy way.

You know how sometimes in life we can get involved in something or with someone that we know we shouldn’t be getting involved with? Often the things we get involved in are over before we even know it. We may not know it early on, or may not want to see “it” for what “it” really is, but others can see that the “it” in our lives is over before we see it.

Seele contributor, Rebekah Mazzei sheds light on the importance God being our compass and guide in any and all decisions that we make.

Seele contributor, Ben Mack points out the importance of talking to God, for what we do when we're alone reveals who we truly are. In order to have a relationship with someone, we have to communicate regularly- the same goes with God. He wants to hear from us everyday, and several times a day.

Seele Editor-In-Chief, Ally Portee continues with the month of Eve. March is the month of Eve, a month where Seele is looking at the first woman from 6 angles, over a period of 6 weeks. This week we will look at “Eve, the Completion of Relationship.” God is relationship, He is about relationships, and He created us to be in relationship. He created us to share in a relationship with Him, to not be independent, but dependent, in the sense that relationship (what He is with Himself) would play out in the lives of humans.

If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be any evidence that you daily walk, talk and commune with your Creator? Do you know Him and do you allow Him to know you?

Each Person of the Godhead has His own unique role and this week I aim with my human mind to briefly unwrap "God the Father"- one of the Persons of the Godhead and how He is our ultimate Father and that our relationship with our earthly fathers mirrors our relationship with God the Father and how we see Him.

Sometimes we can lose sight of the fact that everyday, at anytime of the day, we can have a front row seat with the God of the universe.

As believers in God it is our duty to be faithful to what it means to be a Christian. It is our duty to live out the tenants of our faith and let the light of Jesus shine through us. But, how does God measure our faithfulness to Him?

To whom much is given, much is required. Human beings can be impatient, ready for the next thing, when God is asking, “what are you doing with what’s in your hand now- with what I have given you?” Why should God bless us with more or take us to new levels when we haven’t mastered nurturing what we have now?

Breakups aren’t fun. Whether you’re the one broken up with or the breaker upper- there’s emotional pain for both sides. Break ups are a process, full of phases, emotions, highs and lows. But they are also a great way to grow and become a wiser person.
